For Android GPS Tracking:<\/h2>\n

The locations sometimes are not updated due to poor GPS signal when the phone is either in the pocket or inside a building (or any other obstruction).<\/p>\n

Safespy uses an advanced algorithm in tracking the location by first checking a GPS signal. If the signal is weak, then Safespy will use the CellID method of locating the target phone: method, which approximates the target\u2019s location by using information from the surrounding cell towers or Wi-Fi networks. And if both methods fail, the signal will not get updated.<\/p>\n

Most probably the locations feature is disabled in Settings of the target device.<\/p>\n

Please make the following steps on the phone in order to improve the location feature updates:<\/p>\n

Open\u00a0Settings -> Locations and security (or similar with \u201cLocation\u201d)<\/strong>\u00a0-> make sure that\u00a0\u201cUse GPS satellites\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cUse wireless networks\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0are checked. It\u2019s best to reboot (turn off\/on) the target device to make sure that effects were applied.<\/p>\n

Please note! Settings may be located under a different section for different models.<\/p>\n

In case both GPS and Wireless networks are checked ON, but there are no location logs coming through, please, uncheck both options in the Settings, perform a full reboot of the target phone, and check them ON again.<\/p>\n

In case the\u00a0Android OS is 4.4<\/strong>\u00a0on the target device please check\u00a0Settings -> Locations -> Location mode<\/strong>\u00a0-> and make sure that it\u2019s set to\u00a0High accuracy.<\/strong> Safespy application will be tracking Locations only when this option is set to High accuracy.<\/p>\n

Important:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In case the\u00a0Power Saving mode<\/strong>\u00a0is activated on the target device Locations feature will not update.<\/p>\n

For iPhone\/iPad GPS Tracking:<\/h2>\n

1. Turn on GPS<\/h3>\n

Go to\u00a0“Settings” – “Privacy”<\/strong>, switch on “Location Service<\/strong>“.<\/p>\n

2. Turn on Find my iPhone\"\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

  1. Start at your Home screen.<\/li>\n
  2. Tap Settings > [your name] > iCloud. If you’re using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud.<\/li>\n
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Find My iPhone.<\/li>\n
  4. Slide to turn on Find My iPhone and Send Last Location.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
