Essential Settings

These settings must be properly configured to keep Safespy working.

Battery Setting

1. Settings > App & notifications > Advanced > Special app access > Battery optimization > All apps > System Service > Don’t Optimize (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”
2. Setting > Battery > Battery Saver (1,2,3)
   Set to “OFF”
3. Setting > Battery > Adaptive Battery > Use Adaptive Battery (1,2,3)
   Set to “OFF”

Background App Setting

No special configuration found.

You may Ignore this step.

Other Settings

No need to change these settings by default. But they will affect Safespy functions if changed by user.

Data Usage

1. Settings > Apps & notifications > See all 50 apps > App info >System Service > Data usage> Background data & Unrestricted data usage (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”
2. Settings > App & notifications > Notifications > Allow notification dots (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”
3. Settings > App & notifications > Advanced > Special app access > Notification access > System Service (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”
4. Settings – App & notifications > Advanced > Special app access > Unrestricted data > System Service (1,2,3)
   Set to “ON”

App Setting

Settings > Apps & notifications > See all 50 apps > App info > System Service > Permissions > App Permissions (1,2,3)
Set to “ON”
