FAQ – iPhone No Jailbreak Solution

1. What is Safespy without Jailbreak solution?

iOS without jailbreak solution is a product that allows you to monitor your target iPhone/iPad using iCloud synchronization service.

It will fetch the data from your target device without the necessity of jailbreaking it or having an access to the device! All you need to know is login credentials to the iCloud account of the target device.

2. How does it work?

Once activated Safespy will automatically get connected to the target iCloud account and upload the information from it to your Control Panel.

Note: Only 1 device from target iCloud account can be monitored. Then Safespy gets connected to the target iCloud account every 24 hours and synchronizes the data.

Note: In case your target device did not synchronize any data to iCloud, Safespy will not be able to get it.

4. Which features are currently available with Safespy without Jailbreak solution?

At the moment with Safespy without jailbreak solution you can monitor such activities of target iOS device:

5. Which features are going to be available in future?

6. How many times do I need to press ‘BackUp Now’ in Settings > iCloud > Storage and BackUp and in what cases should it be pressed?

It should be pressed only once before you connect the target device (its backup) to your account and later on there will be no necessity to press it for the logs to be updated. Logs will be updated automatically every 24 hours.

7. When do I see updates?

Update Interval is being automatically set. It means that within the time-frame set after the full iPhone/iPad backup has been transferred to the iCloud, the information will be available on your account. Also, you can always use an Update Now button which will perform re-synchronization with iCloud (minimum 1 hour after previous updates).

8. What to do if the logs are not coming?

Please be aware that the logs will be updated only if:
  • the iCloud Backup is enabled on the target device
  • the target device is connected to Wi-Fi
  • the target device is plugged in
  • the target device is locked.

First time right after switching iCloud backup ON, backup must be launched manually to avoid problem with auto-updating further

All needed sensors are selected for being backed up (in this case if any of sensors were switched off for backing up – it won’t be exported to iCloud)

If one or more of the requirements above is not followed, no updates will go through.

9. Can I monitor several iCloud backups under 1 subscription?

It depends on your purchase version. If you bought our Premium Version, then it will be able to monitor ONLY one target device which is to be selected during the Installation steps.

If your version is Family or Business, then you can monitor more than 2 devices.

10. What to do if the phone is not getting connected to the account?

In case the target iCloud account doesn’t get linked to Safespy, please check login credentials.

Note: It may take some time to get synchronized and get the data.

11. What if the password to iCloud account was changed:

If the password to iCloud account was changed and user didn’t save it during the registration, following info will be displayed: “iCloud Credentials were changed!”

In order to change the password to mCloud, press on Update Now button and pop-up window will automatically request a new pass to iCloud (which was already changed by the target).

12. What happens if I turn Off “iCloud Backup” service in the Settings – iCloud

In case the iCloud Backup option is turned OFF, new data will not be uploaded to the server and you will not be to get updates on your account.

13. How to identify the subscription of iOS without Jailbreak Solution in the CP?

You can check it in the “Billing” on the left sidebar of your Control Panel.

15. Is there any problem why I can’t get backup data?

For accounts with Apple’s two-step verification enabled, the given feature doesn’t work right now.
