Enable Kik Notifications on Android Phone

In order to monitor Kik messages on the non-rooted Android device. You should:

  • Enable Notifications on Android
  • Enable Kik In-App Notifications

Part 1: Enable Notifications on Android

  1. Go to your device settings.
  2. Tap Applications > Application manager(Apps) > Kik > Notifications.
  3. Turn on notifications from Kik.

5 Touch the checkbox next to Notifications to mark it with a tick to turn on Kik notifications

Part 2: Enable Kik In-App Notifications

Android Nougat (7.x) and lower

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap Notifications
  3. Tap on:
  • Sound: to turn on/off sound notifications
  • Vibration: to turn on/off vibration notifications
  • LED Color: to select which color you want to use for Kik notifications
  • Mute New Chats: to mute notifications for messages from new people

Android Oreo (8.x) and greater

  1. Tap Settings
  2. Tap Notifications
  3. Tap on:
    • In-app Alerts: go into your Android notification settings for Kik
    • Mute New Chats: to mute notifications for messages from new people
