Enable Instagram Notifications on Android Phone

In order to monitor Instagram messages on the non-rooted Android device. You should:

• Enable Notifications on Android
• Enable Instagram In-App Notifications

Part 1: Enable Notifications on Android

To make it short, you can follow the 3 simple steps below

1. Go to your device settings.
2. Tap Applications > Application manager(Apps) > Instagram > Notifications.
3. Turn on notifications from Instagram.

3 Touch Application manager OR Apps (this will be different depending on your operating system)

4 Touch Instagram

5 Touch the checkbox next to Notifications to mark it with a tick to turn on Instagram notifications

Part 2: Enable Instagram In-App Notifications

To do so, follow these steps:

Step 1: Open the Instagram app and go to your profile screen. Here tap on the three-bar icon at the top-right corner. Select Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down and tap on Push Notifications under Notifications.

Step 3: Look for Instagram Direct and Instagram Direct Requests. Make sure the check mark is next to From Everyone for Instagram Direct. If it is next to Off, tap on From Everyone to select it.
