In the resent Android updates new features to save more battery life and to optimize the battery life were offered. In order to make application run on the background you need to add app to the list of Unmonitored/Protected apps. For Android 7.0 steps are following:
- Open Settings > Device maintenance
- Select Battery option on the bottom
- Swipe down to the bottom, you see option Unmonitored apps > click on it;
- Tap on Add app
- Select System Service in the list
1. List of Protected apps on Huawei devices
- Find Phone manager application amoung other apps
- Select Power Saving section
- Tap on Protected apps and enable System Service in the list
In case Phone Manager is missing on device check Settings – Protected apps – enable System Service
2. List of Autostart apps on Xiaomi devices
- Open Security app and choose Permissions
- Tap on Autostart and enable System Service in the list
In case Security icon is missing on device check Settings – Permissions – Autostart – enable System Service
